This latest bottling from the Highland based distillery - which marks a decade of the limited annual release, is said to deliver notes of crisp apple, blackberries, pink peppercorn, toasted almonds and dried coconut on the nose. Followed by notes of vanilla custard slices, crème brulee, baked pears, lemon peel and hints of sherry oak on the palate.
Commenting on the launch, Katy Muggeridge, Brand Director at
Ian Macleod Distillers, said: “Each of the ten iterations in the Cask Strength
series has showcased the much-loved Glengoyne signature style – rich, sweet,
and fruity. Batch. 010 is no exception - boasting notes of apple, berries, pink
peppercorn and creme brulee. It’s a fitting dram to mark one decade of the
series and we’re delighted to see it already picking up accolades.”
Glengoyne Cask Strength Batch 10, is now available from the
distillery’s online shop and specialist retailers, for a RRP of £85.00.
