The Ayrshire based Lochlea Distillery, has today announced
the launch of its first Cask Strength whisky expression.
Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 1 (60.1% ABV) is a single malt
Scotch whisky, which was matured in a combination of first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels
and Oloroso Sherry casks.

This latest release, which is part of a new series of special annual bottlings, follows an array of unique releases from the barley farm-based distillery, since it introduced its very first single malt whisky in January 2022.
Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 1, is said to deliver notes
including fruit punch, cigars, coffee beans, Brazil nuts, orange
syrup and aged oak shavings.
Commenting on the launch, John Campbell, Master Blender at

Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 1, will be available later this
month from specialist retailers, for a RRP of £65.00.
