French drinks giant La Martiniquaise, has announced the UK launch of a new expression from its Label 5 Scotch whisky brand.
Label 5 Bourbon Barrel (40%) is a single grain Scotch
whisky, which has been fully matured in first-fill Bourbon barrels for over
three years.

Distilled and matured at La Martiniquaise’s West Lothian based Starlaw Distillery, this latest launch is said to herald an exciting new chapter for Label 5, which is one of the world’s top ten best-selling Scotch whisky brands.
Label 5 Bourbon Barrel, is said to deliver notes of vanilla,
wood, and subtle fruits on the nose, followed by notes of vanilla and oak on
the palate.
Commenting on the launch, Jamie Stewart, UK Commercial
Director at La Martiniquaise, said: “The UK launch of our first single grain
whisky is a really exciting time for Label 5 and showcases the expertise and
craftmanship that goes into making our globally acclaimed blends. We are

Label 5 Bourbon Barrel, will initially be available from 191
ASDA stores across the UK, for a RRP of £20.00.
