Chivas Brothers, has today announced the launch of a new
limited-edition collaborative bottling, between its Glenlivet single malt Scotch
whisky brand and Scottish brewer Innis & Gunn.
The Glenlivet Distillery Reserve Collection: 9 Year-Old Beer
Cask Finish Edition (57.8% ABV) was initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels, before
being finished in a cask previously used to mature Innis & Gunn’s Vanishing
Point Imperial Stout.

This latest release which is the first beer cask finish from The Glenlivet and the Chivas Brothers whisky portfolio as a whole, is said to demonstrate the finest Scotch whisky craftsmanship mastered by The Glenlivet team of makers - led by Cask Expert Kevin Balmforth and Distillery Manager Lisa Glen.

Cask Finish Edition, is said to deliver notes of golden syrup biscuits, dark
cherry tart, treacle, honeycomb, nougat and tropical fruits on the nose.
Followed by notes of spicy ginger, freshly ground nutmeg and subtle fruity
flavour notes from hops on the palate.

the distillery shop and website, for a RRP of £95.00.
