Ian Macleod Distillers, has announced the launch of
the sixth edition of its multi award-winning Batch Strength series bottling,
from its Tamdhu single malt Scotch whisky brand.
Tamdhu Batch Strength No. 006 (56.8% ABV) has been matured
in Oloroso sherry seasoned casks, a high proportion of which are first-fill
casks.

This latest Batch Strength bottling from the Speyside based distillery, is said to deliver notes of spiced oak, roasted nuts and warming vanilla on the nose, followed by notes of summer berry pudding and crème anglaise on the palate.
Commenting on the launch, Sandy McIntyre, Tamdhu Distillery
Manager, said: “The Batch Strength series is one of our most popular
releases – and Batch Strength No.006 is sure to appeal to our fans old and new.
The high proportion of first-fill Oloroso sherry casks give this whisky a rich,
complex taste and long, rewarding finish.”
