Dewar’s, has announced the launch of the latest release from
its award-winning Double Double series.
Dewar’s Double Double 21 Year Old Mizunara Oak Cask Finish
(46% ABV) is a blended Scotch whisky, which has been finished in Japanese
Mizunara oak casks.

This latest release from the Bacardi owned brand, is said to bring together the distilling traditions of Japan and Scotland, creating a rare blend that captures the essence of two cultures. Unlike American oak, Mizunara oak does not grow straight and can take over 200 years to mature.
Every release in the Dewar’s Double Double series is crafted
with a unique four-stage aging process spearheaded by five-time Master Blender
of the Year, Stephanie Macleod. The whiskies are aged, blended
together, aged again, then finished in a selection of different casks.

Dewar’s Double Double 21 Year Old Mizunara Oak Cask Finish,
is now available in the US, for a RRP of $149.99.
