This latest release from the distillery located on the northerly-most shores of Scotland, on the Caithness Coast, is said to deliver notes of coconut, citrus, rich vanilla custard and candied almonds. These notes, combined with the coastal air influence and a toffee aroma, are said to result in a mouth-wateringly delicious salted caramel flavour.
Commenting on the launch, Malcolm Waring, Pulteney
Distillery Manager said: “I’m so pleased to introduce Old Pulteney’s 13 Years
Old to our range. The expression truly embodies Pulteney Distillery’s signature
coastal style, with a deliciously distinctive flavour that comes from being
lovingly matured by the sea. Our 13 Years Old is a wonderful dram that takes
travel lovers on a journey of their own - starting with tropical flavours of
coconut and citrus, reminiscent of sunny holidays, before making way for sweet
notes of vanilla, toffee and candied nuts. I’m really looking forward to
sharing this expression with whisky drinkers across the continent.”
Old Pulteney 13 Year Old, is now available from UK Duty Free
outlets, before rolling out across European travel retail in the coming months.
RRP: £65.00.
