Diageo, has announced the launch of a new limited-edition 30 Year Old expression, from its Mortlach Distillery.
Mortlach 30 Year Old - Midnight Malt (49.1% ABV) is a single

This latest release from the Speyside based distillery, which has been described by the brand as a rich, deep whisky, to slowly savour in the darker hours, is said to deliver notes including pork crackling sprinkled with dry sage, apple and black pepper.
Commenting on the launch, Dr Craig Wilson, Diageo Master of
malt, said: “There is an art and science to the creation of whisky, born of an
unabating quest to wield flavour – a journey that is complex, evolving into
unknown directions, only to finally reveal itself as the patient labour of
visionary at work.”
Limited to 350 bottles, Mortlach 30 Year Old - Midnight Malt,
will be available later this month from specialist retailers, for a RRP of
£3,700.
