Michter's Distillery, has announced the launch of its annual 10 Year Old single barrel Kentucky straight rye whiskey.
Michter’s 10 Year Old Single Barrel Rye – 2021 Edition
(46.4% ABV) which has been matured in charred new American oak barrels, will be
the only 10 Year Old rye release from the Louisville, Kentucky based distillery
this year.

Michter’s 10 Year Old Single Barrel Rye – 2021 Edition, is said to deliver notes of vanilla, toffee, toasted almonds, cinnamon, crushed pepper and orange citrus.
Commenting on the launch, Dan McKee, Michter's Master
Distiller, said: "This 10 Year Rye release is a multi-layered whiskey.
It's bold, rich, and complex with a beautiful mouth-feel."
Dan went onto say: "In addition to our new release of
10 Year Rye, one development at Michter's which I'm particularly excited about
is the expansion of our Springfield Farm and Operations from 145 to 205 acres.
This will allow us to produce more estate grown grain for distillation and
bring more wonderful whiskeys to our fans everywhere."
Michter’s 10 Year Old Single Barrel Rye – 2021 Edition, will be available next month from specialist retailers in the US, for a RRP of $170.00.
