This latest release follows on from the sell-out success of the inaugural Glasgow 1770 Single Malt Triple Distilled release. But whereas the first bottling was matured exclusively in virgin oak casks, this new expression was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and virgin oak casks.
Glasgow 1770 Single Malt Triple Distilled – Smooth and
Vibrant, is said to deliver notes of sweet vanilla, white chocolate, fresh
summer fruits, aromatic apple, pear and peaches on the nose, followed by notes
of vibrant vanilla, soft caramel, double cream, orchard fruits, berries and
sweet almonds on the palate.
Back in April, the Glasgow Distillery Company, announced the
launch of its first distillery exclusive expression, in collaboration with the
US based Kelvin Cooperage.
Glasgow 1770 Single Malt Triple Distilled – Smooth and
Vibrant, is now available from the Glasgow Distillery online shop, for a RRP of
£49.00.
