WALSH WHISKEY LAUNCHES ITS 12TH 'THE IRISHMAN' VINTAGE CASK BOTTLING

Walsh Whiskey, has today announced the launch of the 2020 vintage of its ‘The Irishman’ Vintage Cask bottling.

The Irishman Vintage Cask 2020 (55.2% ABV) has been produced using a combination of single pot still and single malt Irish whiskeys, which were matured in first-fill bourbon casks.

The Irishman Vintage Cask 2020, is the 12th release in the series which launched in 2008. The first bottling become the first triple-distilled Cask Strength Irish whiskey to be released in over half a century.

This latest release from the County Carlow based business, is said to deliver a creamy nose, with notes of walnut and oak spices, and hints of stone fruit, nutmeg, honey blossom and fig on the palate.

Commenting on the launch, Bernard Walsh, Founder of Walsh Whiskey, said: “Our Vintage Cask Strength releases are much sought after so, with just 3,500 bottles worldwide, they will be prized-possessions for whomever secures one”.

The Irishman Vintage Cask 2020, will be available later this month from specialist retailers and selected travel retail outlets, for a RRP of €130.00.
