NEW COGNAC FINISHED IRISH WHISKEY BRAND TO LAUNCH IN THE UK LATER THIS MONTH

UK based drinks agency Tortuga Brands, has announced that it is expanding its spirits portfolio with the launch of the first two expressions from a new Irish whiskey brand.
 
Lambay Irish Whiskey – Small Batch Blend (40% ABV) is a triple distilled Irish blended whiskey, which was matured in bourbon barrels, before being finished on Cognac casks. Lambay Irish Whiskey - Single Malt (40% ABV) is a triple distilled Irish single malt whiskey, which was finished in Cognac casks.

Both of the new expressions have made with Trinity Well water from Lambay Island and finished in French oak Cognac casks from the cellars of Camus.
 
Lambay Irish Whiskey, is a collaboration between Camus, the world’s leading family-owned Cognac producer, and the Baring Family’s Revelstoke Trust. The new whiskey brand is said to combine centuries old Irish whiskey distilling expertise with equally renowned French cognac blending and maturing expertise.

Lambay Irish Whiskey – Small Batch Blend and Single Malt, will be available later this month from specialist retailers, for the respective RRP’s of €41,00 and €57,00.
