Jim Beam Double Oak (43% ABV) was initially matured in new charred American oak barrels, before being transferred into a second charred oak barrel for a further period of ageing.

The twice-barrelled production process which is used in this latest release from the Clermont - Kentucky based distillery, is said to allow the bourbon to have greater contact with the wood, drawing out “exceptional and perfectly balanced depths”.
As part of Jim Beam’s Global packaging refresh which was announced in February, Jim Beam Double Oak is presented in a distinctive new
bottle, with unique contours, glass embossing and engraving, along with textured
labelling and foiling.
Commenting on the launch, Michael Cockram, Global Marketing
Director for Travel Retail at Beam Suntory, said: “Over the last seven
generations, we have demonstrated our commitment to innovation through the creation
of new expressions worthy of the Jim Beam name. The release of Jim Beam Double
Oak is our most recent edition to the Jim Beam family and we’re excited to
share it with the world.”
Jim Beam Double Oak, will be available exclusively in Travel
Retail from July, for a RRP of £27.99.
