The Bardstown, Kentucky based Lux Row Distillers, has
announced the launch of a new small batch bottling release from its Rebel
Bourbon brand.
Rebel Small Batch Reserve (55% ABV) is a Kentucky Straight
Bourbon Whiskey, comprised of barrels that were hand-selected by Lux Row
Distillers Master Distiller John Rempe and blended into small batches.

Rebel Small Batch Reserve, which features some of the finest barrels from Rebel’s traditional four-year-old wheated-bourbon mash bill, is said to deliver notes of honey, vanilla and caramel on the nose, followed by notes of dark fruit, caramel, vanilla and light spice on the palate.
Commenting on the launch, John Rempe, said: “It’s always a
pleasure to set aside notable barrels to release in small batches, as it
provides fans of our bourbons the opportunity to enjoy the brands they love in
a unique way. Rebel Small Batch Reserve is an example of taking the same time-honoured
wheated recipe created in 1849 and presenting it in a small-batch format and at
110 proof. The result is an exceptionally bold, yet dependably smooth, take on
Rebel that consumers are certain to love.”
Limited in quantities, Rebel Small Batch Reserve, will be
available later this month from specialist retailers in the US, for a RRP of $34.99.
