The County Cork based Clonakilty Distillery, has today
announced the launch of a new 32 Year Old Irish whiskey bottling.
Clonakilty 32 Year Old (42.5% - 43.1% ABV) is a cask strength
Irish single malt whiskey, which was matured in Oloroso Sherry hogshead casks.

This latest release which spent the last eight years in Clonakilty’s warehouse on the Atlantic coast, is said to be fresh and floral, delivering notes of plum pudding, prunes and figs.
Each individually numbered bottle of Clonakilty 32 Year Old,
comes housed in a wooden case and accompanied with a 50ml tasting vial.
Commenting on the launch. Oisin Mulcahy, Head Distiller at
Clonakilty, said: "With the passage of time, the fruit flavours have
matured, revealing rich notes reminiscent of Christmas cake. A delightful plum
pudding sweetness is impeccably balanced by the opulence of prunes and fig. We
have six casks in total, and we are going to release four or possibly five at
most, so this is an exceptionally limited release.“
Limited to 500 bottles, Clonakilty 32 Year Old, is now available
in Ireland and Europe directly from Clonakilty for a RRP of €2,225.00.
