The Derbyshire based White Peak Distillery, has today
announced the launch of a new limited-edition expression.
Wire Works Whisky Virgin Oak Finish (51.7% ABV) is a single
malt whisky, which was initially matured in first fill ex-Bourbon barrels, before
being finished for several months in virgin American oak barrels, with a range
of toast and char levels.

Wire Works Whisky Virgin Oak Finish, is said to deliver notes of caramelised brown sugar, bonfire toffee, cinnamon buns, vanilla fudge, banoffee pie, orchard fruit, boiled sweets, raisins and nutmeg on the nose. Followed by notes of milk chocolate, mace, sandalwood, peppercorn, cinnamon, prune, citrus zest, overripe bananas, orange marmalade, bitter black tea, cigar box, pistachio, raw honey and desiccated coconut on the palate.
Limited to 3,000 bottles, Wire Works Whisky Virgin Oak
Finish, will be available later this month directly from the distillery and
select specialist retailers, for a RRP of £67.00.
