BENROMACH LAUNCHES ITS LATEST 40 YEAR OLD BOTTLING

The Benromach Distillery, has today announced the launch of the second annual release of its 40 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky.

The Benromach 40 Year Old – 2022 Release (57.6% ABV) was matured in Sherry casks and bottled at cask strength.

This latest release from the Speyside based distillery, which follows on from their first 40 Year Old bottling in August 2021, is said to deliver notes of cinnamon, ginger, Seville orange, stewed red berries and roasted hazelnut on the nose. Followed by notes morello cherry, baked apple, liquorice, dark chocolate, fruitcake and black pepper on the palate.

The Benromach 40 Year Old – 2022 Release, comes presented in a black stained solid oak wooden box with copper- coloured detailing and printed metal plaques. The bottle features a heavily embossed and gold foiled label to complete the quality feel.

Commenting on the launch, Keith Cruickshank, Distillery Manager at Benromach, said: “This rare whisky truly is something special and reflects the nuance and character of the casks it has been matured in.”

Limited to 1,132 bottles, The Benromach 40 Year Old – 2022 Release, will be available later this month from specialist retailers, for a RRP of £2,000.00.
