The GlenDronach Distillery, has announced the U.S. launch of the
tenth limited-edition release, of its Cask Strength single malt Scotch whisky.
GlenDronach Cask Strength Batch 10 (58.6% ABV) was matured
in a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry casks, which were selected
by Master Blender Rachel Barrie.

This latest release from the Highlands based distillery, is said to deliver notes of mocha, apricot, baked orange chocolate cake, roasted almonds, walnuts, raisins and toasted oak on the nose. Followed by notes of spiced fruitcake, nectarine, dark cherry and honeyed sultana raisins on the palate.
Commenting on the launch, Rachel Barrie said: “The
GlenDronach Cask Strength Batch 10 is incredibly rich and full-bodied with the
full depth of sherry caskmaturation at its heart. Presented at natural cask
strength, it offers a cornucopia of flavor, from richly spicedfruitcake to dark
cherry and ginger jam.”
GlenDronach Cask Strength Batch 10, will be available later
this month from specialist retailers in the U.S, for a RRP of $99.99.
