WALSH WHISKEY ANNOUNCES NEW DISTRIBUTION NETWORK IN TAIWAN AND NEW ZEALAND

The Walsh Whiskey Distillery, has announced the expansion of its distribution network with the appointment of distribution partners in Taiwan and New Zealand.

In Taiwan, the Taichung based importer and wholesaler 99 Bottles, will be the exclusive distributor of Walsh Whiskey Distillery’s portfolio. The appointment of 99 Bottles, marks Walsh Whiskey Distillery’s entry to the 24 million strong Taiwanese market. Based in Taichung, 99 Bottles is an importer and wholesaler specialising in exclusive single cask bottlings.

In New Zealand, Eurovintage (trading as Thirsty Camel) will be the exclusive distributor of Walsh Whiskey Distillery’s Irish whiskey portfolio.

Commenting on the news, Shane Fitzharris, Walsh Whiskey Distillery’s Senior Global Sales Manager, said: “We are delighted to be working with Eurovintage and 99 Bottles. New Zealand and Taiwan expand our presence in the Asia-Pacific region which includes Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Australia.”

The County Carlow based distillery, will now have its ‘The Irishman’ and ‘Writers’ Tears’ Irish whiskey brands available in available in 45 countries.
