Named “Best Spirit in the World” by F. Paul Pacult’s Spirit Journal in 2013 edition, this latest batch of Angel’s Envy Cask Strength Port Wine Finish, is said to deliver notes of rose petals, dense fruitcake, freshly picked strawberries, cracked black peppercorns and cloves on the nose, followed by notes of Caramel coffee, dried fig, aged tobacco, and toasted sourdough bread on the palate.
Commenting on the launch, Wes Henderson, Chief Innovation Officer at Angel’s Envy, said: “Cask Strength is a rare and remarkably complex bourbon unlike any other you’ve ever tried. It’s more than a limited release; it’s a significant whiskey event.”
