its Fettercairn 18 Year Old.

Created by Whyte & Mackay’s whisky maker Gregg Glass, Fettercairn 18 Year Old launched in 2022, and is the Highlands based whisky brands first expression to be finished in locally sourced Scottish oak.
This latest release is said to be the complete embodiment of
Fettercairn’s values and their commitment to the future of progressive, flavour
led, whisky making. This expression is both innovative in style and substance
and celebrates what makes Fettercairn different, from their unusual tropical
house style – achieved by the unique copper cooling ring distillation – to
their future-focussed approach to local sourcing.
Fettercairn 18 Year Old, is said
to deliver notes of sugared almonds, baking spices, passionfruit and guava on
the nose. Followed by notes of exotic syruped fruits, patisserie sugars,
brioche, spices, berries, cacao and vanilla on the palate.
Commenting on its inaugural launch last year, Gregg Glass,
Master Whisky Maker, said: “Fettercairn 18 is a culmination of an approach to
whisky making I have developed across a number of years. It reflects the
dedication not just of myself, but of our partners ‘from Forest to Field’, who
each played a role in rekindling the skills required to harvest Scottish Oak.
At Fettercairn we are passionate about the potential of Scottish Oak and the
unique flavour characteristics it offers to the whisky maker.”
Limited in quantities, Fettercairn 18 Year Old will be
available next month from specialist retailers, for a RRP of £200.00.
