DINGLE DISTILLERY LAUNCHES ITS FIRST 10 YEAR OLD WHISKEY

The Dingle Distillery, has today announced the launch of its first 10 Year Old Irish whiskey.

Dingle Single Cask 10 Year Old (58.1% ABV) was distilled in December 2012, and matured in Bourbon barrels.

This latest Dingle release, is the first 10 Year Old whiskey to be released by an Irish craft distillery in over 100 years, using its own liquid. 

Dingle Single Cask 10 Year Old, is said to deliver notes of summer blossom, sweet honey, butter toffee, molten honeycomb and ripe fruits on the nose, followed by notes of freshly squeezed apple juice laced with cinnamon on the palate.

Commenting on the launch, Elliot Hughes, Managing Director at Dingle Distillery, said: “We are delighted to launch our Dingle 10-year-old Single Malt whiskey. Having had ample time to mature and develop its unique flavour profile, the result is a smooth and complex whiskey. It is a testament to the dedication and craftsmanship of our distillery team. At Dingle Distillery, we always endeavour to create special and unique products and we think this is evident in our 10-year-old whiskey. It’s a dram to savour and we can’t wait for Dingle whiskey fans to try it.”

Limited to 237 bottles, Dingle Single Cask 10 Year Old, is now available from the distillery website for a RRP of €385.00.
