Walsh Whiskey, has today announced the launch of its 13th
Writers’ Tears Cask Strength bottling.
Writers’ Tears Cask Strength 2022 (54.8% ABV) is a triple
distilled blend of single pot still and single malt Irish whiskeys, which were
matured in American oak bourbon barrels.

Writers’ Tears Cask Strength 2023, which is limited to 8,700 individually numbered bottles, is said to deliver notes of crème caramel, wild honey, salted caramel-dipped almonds, roasted hazelnuts, toasted oak and ginger spice.
Commenting on the launch, Bernard Walsh, Co-Founder of Walsh

Writers’ Tears Cask Strength 2023, will be available later
this month from specialist retailers, for a RRP of €150.00.
