Ian Macleod Distillers, has announced the launch of the seventh
edition of its multi award-winning Batch Strength series bottling, from its Speyside based Tamdhu Distillery.
Tamdhu Batch Strength No. 007 (57.5% ABV) is a single malt Scotch whisky, which has been fully matured
in Oloroso sherry seasoned casks, from the bodegas of Jerez, Spain.

This latest Batch Strength bottling from the distillery which this week is celebrating its 125th Anniversary, is said to deliver notes of vanilla sponge, spicy cinnamon and roasted praline on the nose. Followed by notes of pavlova filled with raspberries, caramel apricots, oak spice and a zingy lemon punch.

Manager, said: “Batch Strength No. 007 is a testament to our dedication to
exclusively sherry matured whisky, with its deep copper colour and complex
profile. Each Oloroso cask is meticulously hand-crafted, delivering an
exquisite, nuanced flavour and a long, satisfying finish.”
Tamdhu Batch Strength No. 007, is now available from the
distillery online store and specialist retailers for a RRP of £80.99.
