Andalucía.

This latest release from the Highlands based distillery, which was produced using casks hand selected by Master Blender Rachel Barrie, is said to deliver notes of sandalwood, oak balsam, rich aromatic Columbian coffee, dark manuka honey, cocoa and brazil nuts. Followed by notes of mocha, caramel macchiato, cherry chocolate cake, dates, plum skin and sultanas on the palate.
Commenting on the launch, Rachel Barrie, said: “The
GlenDronach Cask Strength Batch 8 is incredibly rich and full-bodied, the result
of years of slow maturation in Pedro Ximénez puncheons, quarter casks and
Oloroso sherry butts. Casks were individually selected, combined and bottled at
natural cask strength to deliver maximum character and depth.”
The GlenDronach Cask Strength Batch 8, will be available
later this month from specialist retailers, for a RRP of £62.00.
