Brown-Forman, has today announced the launch of the latest Batch Proof
release, from its Kentucky based Woodford Reserve distillery.
Woodford Reserve Batch Proof 119.5 (59.8% ABV) which is a limited-edition
Kentucky straight Bourbon whiskey, is said to celebrate the commitment to
craftsmanship by its Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall.

Woodford Reserve Batch Proof series showcases the flavour nuances created from batching 100+ different barrels together, then presenting that bourbon at the exact proof from the barrels. The barrels used to create Batch Proof are drawn from many dates of production and matured in various warehouses and different floors within those warehouses.
This latest release from the annual series, is said to
deliver notes of peanut butter toffee cookie, dried fruit, vanilla and cinnamon
spice on the nose. Followed by notes of sorghum butter, clove and nutmeg on the
palate.
Commenting on the launch, Elizabeth McCall, Master
Distiller, said: “Batch Proof allows consumers to taste Woodford Reserve
exactly as it comes out of the barrels, with all of its complex flavours intact.”
Woodford Reserve Batch Proof 119.5, will be available later
this month directly from the distillery shop and select specialist retailers in the US, for a RRP of $149.99.
