Brown-Forman, has today announced the launch of the latest 117 series release from its Kentucky based Old Forester distillery.
Old Forester 117 Series: Warehouse I (47.5% ABV) is an 11 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky, which has been launched to celebrate the 91st Anniversary of Repeal Day and the end of Prohibition.

Each bottle of the limited-edition whisky comes from barrels aged in Old Forester's Warehouse I, resulting in a flavour profile distinct to the warehouse's unique maturation environment. These Warehouse I barrels were heat-cycled since 2013 and chosen exclusively from the hottest floors, by Old Forester Assistant Master Distiller Caleb Trigo.
This latest release is said to deliver notes of dark honey,
peanut brittle, toasted oak, spiced pear, stone fruit, clove and light-roasted
coffee on the nose. Followed by notes of apricot, orchard fruit, butterscotch,
clove, nutmeg and white pepper on the palate.

Limited in quantities, Old Forester 117 Series: Warehouse I,
is now available directly from the distillery, for a RRP of $64.99.
