This latest release from the distillery affectionately known as the ‘King of the Lowlands’, which is limited to just 107 bottles, is said to deliver notes including tropical fruits, blueberry muffins, cinnamon, chamomile and warming oak.
Located on the banks of the Forth & Clyde Canal in
Falkirk, Rosebank was bought by Ian Macleod Distillers in 2017. Following a
multi-million-pound restoration the distillery restarted production for the
first time in over 30 years in July 2023 – and officially reopened its doors to
the public this year on June 7th.
Commenting on the launch, William Ovens, Head of Global
Travel Retail at Ian MacLeod Distillers, said: “We are delighted to be
launching this very special and extremely rare 33yo Rosebank Single Cask in
Global Travel Retail. This expression is a reflection of the unique production
process, which juxtaposes triple distillation with worm tub condensers to
compose a captivating whisky. With only 107 bottles available it’s a unique
opportunity to own a special part of Rosebank’s history.”
Rosebank 33 Year Old, is now available from select global
travel retail outlets, for a RRP of £5,500.
