KNOB CREEK LAUNCHES NEW 7 YEAR OLD RYE WHISKEY

Beam Suntory, has announced the launch of a new age-stated rye expression from its Knob Creek bourbon brand.

Knob Creek 7 Year Old Rye (50% ABV) is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey, which has been matured in deeply charred American oak barrels.

This latest release, which will join the brands core range, is said to deliver notes of sweet caramel, vanilla, rye spice, apple and hints of leather on the nose. Followed by notes of black pepper, sweet vanilla, caramel, oak and rich spice on the palate.

Commenting on the launch, Fred Noe, Beam Family 7th Generation Master Distiller, said: “My dad Booker Noe created Knob Creek with the intention of crafting a full-flavored whiskey without shortcuts, and Knob Creek has continued to set that standard for more than 30 years. We are excited to continue his legacy with the addition of an age statement on our Knob Creek Rye Whiskey. I’m excited for whiskey fans to taste it, and I know Dad would be proud.”

Knob Creek 7 Year Old Rye, is now available across the US, for a RRP of $36.99.
