The Derbyshire based White Peak Distillery, has today announced
the launch of its second small batch whisky bottling.
Wire Works Whisky Small Batch (47.7% ABV) is a single malt
English whisky, which has been matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and White
Peak’s signature STR casks (re-conditioned casks that have been shaved, toasted
and re-charred).

This latest Wire Works Whisky Small Batch release, is said to deliver notes of orchard fruits, vanilla butter fudge and fruitcake on the nose. Followed by notes of tobacco, bitter orange marmalade and cereal on the palate.
White Peak Distillery was founded in 2016 by
husband-and-wife team Max & Claire Vaughan - both originally from
Derbyshire – and continues to go from strength to strength, having won awards
not only for its whisky but also for its Distillery visitor experiences and,
more recently, the Wire Works Whisky packaging.
Commenting on the launch, Max Vaughan, Co-Founder of White
Peak said: “Driving Wire Works Whisky into the international market for the
first time is really exciting and hopefully the start of another part of our
business. We are delighted to be working with new partners in Germany and Italy
to help us build the brand in Europe and share our passion and whiskies with
those outside of the UK.”
Limited to 4,200 bottles, Wire Works Whisky Small Batch will
be available later this month directly from the distillery and select
specialist retailers, for a RRP of £60.00.
