The Tullibardine Distillery, has today announced the launch of its fifth Distillery Editions bottling.
Tullibardine Distillery Edition No.5 (53.3% ABV) is a single
cask, single malt Scotch whisky, which was distilled in 2007 and initially
matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel, before being finished in a Sauternes
wine cask.

Tullibardine launched their Distillery Edition exclusive bottlings in 2020, to offer visitors something a bit special when they make the journey to the distillery. So far, the first three editions have sold out and have been highly sought after. Each single cask in the series is picked by a different team member.
This latest release in the series was chosen by Senior
Distillery & Warehouse Operator, Greg Paterson, who has been working at the
distillery for 15 years.
Commenting on the whisky, Greg Paterson, said: “The
sweetness of the first-fill bourbon marries particularly well with the fruitiness
from the time spent in the Sauternes cask, bringing out aromas of white peach
and ripe nectarines.”
Limited to 269 bottles, Tullibardine Distillery Edition No.5, is now available from
the Tullibardine Visitor Centre, for a RRP of £95.00.
