The Loch Lomond Group, has today announced the launch of its 2022 Glen Scotia Campbeltown Malts Festival bottling.
Glen Scotia Campbeltown Malts Festival 2022 Edition (56.5% ABV) is an 8 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky, which was initially matured in heavily peated, first-fill bourbon barrels before being finished for 12 months in Pedro Ximénès hogsheads.

This latest release which was created by Distillery Manager and Master Distiller, Iain McAlister, is said to deliver notes of soft peat smoke, vanilla, fresh apples and pears on the nose, followed by notes of runny treacle, spicy white pepper, sweet fruits and salted toffee on the palate.
The Campbeltown Malts Festival is a pinnacle moment in the town’s calendar each year. It celebrates the exceptional whisky-production capabilities of the fifth whisky region and provides a platform for the three remaining distilleries in the town to showcase their artistry in dram-making to visitors from around the world.

It is a liquid that has been crafted by our talented team and is a fantastic dram to enjoy while soaking up Campbeltown and all it has to offer.”
Glen Scotia Campbeltown Malts Festival 2022 Edition, will be available later this month from specialist retailers, for a RRP of £55.00.
