Teeling Whiskey, has today announced the launch of the fifth
and final bottling in its Renaissance Series.
Teeling – The Renaissance 18 Year Old (46% ABV) is an Irish
single malt whiskey, which was initially matured in ex-Bourbon barrels for 12
years, before being aged for a further 6 years in ex-Calvados casks.

The Renaissance Series, has been a key part of Teeling’s range of award-winning Irish whiskeys, which have collected over 350 international awards over the last nine years, including the title of “World’s Best Single Malt” at the 2019 World Whiskies Awards and four “World’s Best Irish Whiskey” honours at the 2021 World Whiskies Awards.
Teeling – The Renaissance 18 Year Old, is said to deliver
notes of candied apples, cinnamon, baked pears and fresh mint on the nose,
followed by notes of apple pie, golden raisins, pink peppercorns and jasmine on
the palate.

Director of Teeling Whiskey, said: “Like all good things, the Renaissance
Series must come to an end. These limited edition Teeling Whiskeys really lived
up to their name, as they have been enjoyed and celebrated all over the world
including winning some of the top honours for Irish whiskey at International
Spirits Competitions over the last few years. For the final release we have
hand selected some of our very best 18-Year-Old Single Malt to make sure we end
this award-winning series on a high note. We can end this series knowing that
the Renaissance of Dublin as the epicentre for world-class, city based whiskey
distillation is now firmly re-established with our Dublin distilled Irish
whiskey now being celebrated and enjoyed around the world.”
Limited to 9,000 bottles, Teeling – The Renaissance 18 Year
Old, will initially be available from select specialist retailers in Ireland, ahead
of rolling out internationally later in the year. RRP €140.00.
