The Lakes Distillery, has today announced the launch of a
new limited-edition single malt whisky expression, exclusive to Master of Malt.
The Lakes Whiskymaker’s Editions – Miramar (54% ABV) which is
a diversion from distillery’s sherry-led house style, has been matured in ex-bourbon
casks and Port pipes.

The Whiskymaker’s Editions, are said to be a series of one-off single malt whisky releases, showcasing the sense of adventure of Lakes Distillery Whiskymake, Dhavall Gandhi.
Commenting on the launch, Dhavall Gandhi, said: “Miramar is
versatile and expansive, bursting with stone fruit character contrasted with
comforting vanilla and hints of gentle spice. Layers of intricately woven
flavours bring about a perfumed elegance with accentuated notes of Santa Rosa
plums, Morello cherries, honeyed fruits and toasted malts.”
Last month The Lakes Distillery, launched The Whiskymaker’s
Editions - Le Goûter, in partnership with the department store chain Harvey
Nichols.
Limited to 600 bottles, The Lakes Whiskymaker’s Editions –
Miramar, is now available exclusively from Master of Malt, for a RRP of £80.00.
