Mossburn Distillers, has today announced the launch of the second expression, from its Isle of Skye based Torabhaig Distillery.
Torabhaig Legacy Series - Allt Gleann (46% ABV) is a peated
single malt Scotch whisky, matured in first-fill bourbon barrels.

This latest bottling is the second of four expressions to be released in the Torabhaig Legacy Series, the first of which; Legacy Series 2017, launched back in February. Each release is said to capture a stage on the journey from inception and youth through to coming of age and full maturity.
These initial bottlings from Torabhaig, are said to represent
an opportunity for distillery to develop its style and character, ahead of the
release of its 10 Year Old, which is due to be released in 2028.
The team behind Torabhaig have been making whisky since
January 2017, blending traditional and contemporary approaches to distilling.
Using traditional wooden washbacks for fermentation and classic twin copper
stills.
Torabhaig Distillery, is said to have developed a distinctive
signature style described as “Well-Tempered Peat”, bringing a complexity of
flavour and delivering a truly exceptional, balanced character to the whisky.
This signature style creates the foundation for Torabhaig’s heritage and legacy
to come.
Torabhaig Legacy Series - Allt Gleann, will be available from specialist retailers in July. RRP (tbc). There will also be further batches released throughout 2021 and 2022.
