The Echlinville Distillery, has announced the launch of its third limited-edition Dunville’s PX Cask Strength bottling.
Dunville’s PX 12 Year Old Cask Strength - Cask 1703 (58.2%
ABV) is an Irish single malt whiskey, which has been finished in Pedro Ximenez
sherry casks.

This latest release from the County Down, Northern Ireland based distillery, follows on from the first two Dunville's PX 12 Year Old Cask Strength bottlings, released in March and August of this year.
Dunville's PX 12 Year Old Cask Strength - Cask 1703, is said to deliver notes of pear, caramelised brown sugar, fresh apricots, white peach, ripe grapes, stewed apples, candied orange, marzipan, nutmeg and dark chocolate on the nose. Followed by notes of stewed orchard fruits, apples, pears, dark stone fruits, nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, orange peel and charred oak on the palate.
Commenting on the news, Jarlath Watson from Dunville’s Irish
Whiskey, said: “This is the third Cask Strength expression of our award winning
12 Year Old PX whiskey and the newest addition to our Single Cask Series, which
showcases the very best whiskeys from our warehouses.”
He went onto say: "As the Single Cask Series continues
to evolve, we look forward to future Pedro Ximénez cask releases with some
interesting twists and impressive age statements.”
Limited to 334 bottles, Dunville’s PX 12 Year Old Cask
Strength - Cask 1703, will be available from 8pm on November 20th, via the
Echlinville Distillery online shop, for a RRP of £112.00.
