Loch Lomond Whiskies, has announced the launch of two new core range, single malt Scotch whisky expressions.

Loch Lomond 21 Year Old (46% ABV) and Loch Lomand 30 Year Old (47% ABV) have been created by Master Blender Michael Henry, using spirit from Loch Lomond’s innovative straight necked pot stills.

The New Loch Lomond 21 and 30 Year Old

Loch Lomond 21 Year Old, was produced using three styles of spirit; two of which are peated and all matured separately in American oak casks, before being married together for three months.

Loch Lomand 30 Year Old, was matured in American oak casks, with half of the liquid being finished in hand-selected first fill Oloroso sherry casks, before both casks were married together and bottled at cask strength.

Commenting on the launch, Michael Henry, said: “Working on these two aged products has been a pleasure. Each expression perfectly showcases our signature style and the range of flavours that Loch Lomond Whiskies is known for – fruits, spice and a hint of peat. Working with both American Oak and Oloroso casks has created wonderfully distinctive, warming flavours that we hope whisky lovers will enjoy.”

Loch Lomond 21 Year Old and Loch Lomand 30 Year Old, will be available later this month from specialist retailers, for the respective RRP’s of £140.00 and £500.00.
