Diageo, has today announced the launch of three new limited-edition Johnnie Walker Red Label, Black Label and Gold Label bottles, to help celebrate the brands 200th anniversary.
The block-colour bottles are said to be a bold reimagining of its classic glass bottle, with each variant named after its iconic slanted label, now replaced by a opaque wrap.
The new designs radically reimagine the brand’s ‘Keep Walking’ mantra, celebrating the boundary-pushing spirit that has been at the heart of the brand since its founder John Walker first opened the doors to a small grocery store in Kilmarnock, Scotland 200 years ago.
Commenting on the news, Ali Reynolds, Johnnie Walker’s GB Brand Ambassador, said: “These limited-edition bottles give a bold new look to our most iconic whiskies and perfectly celebrate Johnnie Walker’s depth of character as we celebrate this incredible 200-year milestone. This striking new design is sure to stand-out on shelf and appeal to both enthusiasts and those who are new to the Scotch scene. The new bottles also make an ideal option for gifting occasions as we showcase the innovative brand ethos and open the doors to a new generation of whisky drinkers.”
The new limited-edition Johnnie Walker bottlings; Red Label, Black Label and Gold Label, will be available later this month from selected retailers, for the respective RRP’s of £23.99, £30.49 and £48.49.
