Michter’s 10 Year Old Single Barrel Rye – 2020 Edition (46.4% ABV) which will be the only release of the rye this year, is said to not only have great spice notes, but also the richness and balance that comes from having a fair amount of corn and malted barley in the mashbill.

While Michter's Fort Nelson Distillery has been shut since mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, their Shively Distillery has continued to distil and bottle.
Commenting on the launch, Andrea Wilson, Michter's Master of Maturation, said: "There is nothing quite like really good rye distillate that's been aged with thoughtful care for over a decade in a barrel that was toasted and then charred and in a warehouse that has been heat cycled to produce a deep, rich flavour profile perfect for sipping."
In April, Michter's announced the launch of their annual 10 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon bottling.
Michter’s 10 Year Old Single Barrel Rye – 2020 Edition, will be available later this month in limited quantities across the US, for a RRP of $160.00 – 750ml.
