LOCH LOMOND LAUNCHES NEW EUROPEAN TOUR RANGE

The Loch Lomond Group, has today announced the launch of a new range of five single malt whiskies, to mark the start of the 2020 European Tour.

The five single cask bottlings, have been released to celebrate the five venues that will host the six-week long European Tour UK Swing, following suspension of the regular ‘The Open’ season.

The Loch Lomond European Tour Range

The Betfred British Masters Exclusive Single Cask (57.4% ABV) which was finished in Limousin oak cask, honours the event held at Close House.

The Hero Open Exclusive Single Cask (57.7% ABV) which was finished in a Sauternes wine cask, celebrates the event held at Forest of Arden.

The English Championship Exclusive Single Cask (57.7% ABV) which was matured in a rum cask, marks the event held at Hanbury Manor.

Wales Open and Celtic Classic (58.2% ABV) which has been matured in an Oloroso sherry cask, honours the events taking place at the Celtic Manor, have been matured in an Oloroso cask.

The UK Championship Exclusive Single Cask (57.7% ABV) which was matured in a Tawny Port Cask, celebrates the event held at The Belfry.

With each cask being unique, the number of bottles differs per cask, however over 1,700 bottles will be available across the range in the UK and Europe.

As an official partner of the European Tour UK Swing, Loch Lomond will also support the launch of the new ‘Golf for Good’ initiative which will underpin all European Tour events in 2020 by making a positive impact in the communities where the European Tour plays – and the wider world of golf - rewarding heroes of the pandemic such as front line workers, and promoting the many health benefits that golf offers to everyone.
