BUFFALO TRACE LAUNCHES ITS LATEST COLONEL E. H. TAYLOR BOURBON BOTTLING

Buffalo Trace Distillery, has announced the launch of the latest bottling in its Colonel E. H. Taylor Jr, Collection.

Colonel E. H. Taylor 18 Year Old Marriage (50% ABV) is a bottled-in-bond small batch bourbon, which has been produced using a marriage of three mashbills; two rye bourbon mashbills and one wheated bourbon mashbill.

Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. is widely considered one of the founding fathers of the bourbon industry, fighting for the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, nearly three decades after he purchased the distillery that is known today as the Buffalo Trace Distillery.

The Colonel E. H. Taylor, Jr. collection originally launched in 2011, and to date has comprised of a number of releases, including Single Barrel, Barrel Proof, Straight Rye Whiskey and Small Batch Bourbon bottlings.

This latest release, which continues to pay homage to former Distillery owner Colonel E. H. Taylor, Jr, is said to deliver notes of vanilla butter cake, caramel, cinnamon, toasted oak and a hint of spearmint. 

Colonel E. H. Taylor 18 Year Old Marriage, will be available in the US next month in limited quantities, for a RRP of $69.99 – 750ml.
