Bardstown Bourbon Company – The Prisoner (50% ABV) is a 9 Year Old Tennessee bourbon, finished for 18 months in French Oak red wine barrels, which were previously used by The Prisoner Wine Company.

This latest release from the Bardstown Bourbon Company, follows on from its previous collaborative bottlings, which have included bourbons finished in brandy and Muscat Mistelle barrels.
Recognized as one of the most innovative wine brands on the market, The Prisoner Wine Company led the resurgence of California luxury red blends and quickly achieved cult status upon its first release in 2000.
Commenting on the launch, Steve Nally, Master Distiller at The Bardstown Bourbon Company, said: "This spirit is very complex, with a welcoming bouquet of blackberry and black cherry, blended with honey and vanilla. The luxury wine blend's red fruit flavours take the lead on the palate."
Bardstown Bourbon Company – The Prisoner, will be available from selected specialist retailers in the US from January, for a RRP of $124.99 - 750ml.
