JURA LAUNCHES TWO NEW 21 YEAR OLD SINGLE MALT EXPRESSIONS

Whyte & Mackay, has announced the official launch of two new 21 Year Old expressions, from its Jura single malt Scotch whisky brand.

Jura Tide (46.7% ABV) has been matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, before being finished in virgin American white oak casks. Jura Time (47.2% ABV) has been matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, before then being finished in casks which previously held peated single malt whisky.

Jura Tide, is said to pay homage to the brands island home, inspired by the sandy shores that are lapped by the tide of the East Coast of Jura. Jura Time, is said to reflect on time’s power, from losing track of time in the vast wilderness of the island to the whisky in their casks maturing over time.

Commenting on the launch, Kirsteen Beeston, Head of International Malts Brands at Whyte & Mackay Ltd, said: “Since the launch of the new Jura range in 2018, we were determined to establish a gateway to a more super premium offer from Jura and these two new whiskies now fulfil this ambition.  Taking inspiration from our tiny island home, both Jura Time and Jura Tide continue to tell our story but offer distinctive characteristics, albeit aligned to the unique signature style."

Jura Tide, is now available from specialist retailers, for a RRP of £150.00. Jura Time, is now available exclusively through Global Travel Retail outlets, for a RRP of £150.00.
