JOHNNIE WALKER BLUE LABEL LAUNCHES ITS LATEST GHOST AND RARE BOTTLING

Diageo, has today announced the launch of the latest Ghost and Rare bottling, from its Johnnie Walker Blue Label blended Scotch whisky brand.

Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Glenury Royal (43.8% ABV) has been produced using whiskies from a small number of closed distilleries, including and headlined by its namesake distillery which closed in 1985.

This latest Ghost and Rare release, also includes whiskies from Glen Elgin, Inchgower, Glenlossie, Cameronbridge and Glenkinchie distilleries.

Commenting on the launch, Jim Beveridge, Johnnie Walker Master Blender, said: “Shining a light on this hidden treasure of the whisky world is something we've wanted to do for some time. This indulgent new limited edition provides us with a wonderful opportunity to explore the remarkable layers of rich fruit found in every drop of Johnnie Walker Blue Label."

Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Glenury Royal, will be available from specialist retailers in October, for a RRP of £275.00.
