THE MACALLAN LAUNCHES NEW 52 YEAR OLD EXPRESSION

The Macallan, has today announced the launch of a new limited-edition, 52 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky expression.

The Macallan 52 Year Old – 2018 (48% ABV) has been matured in a single first fill European oak sherry seasoned cask.

Limited to just 250 individually numbered bottles, this latest release from The Macallan, is said to be a testament to the brands exceptional oak casks, which are sourced, crafted, toasted and seasoned under the watchful eyes of The Macallan masters of wood and delivered through the years to the exacting specifications of generations of master distillers.

The Macallan 52 Year Old - 2018, is said to deliver notes of rich cherry, dark chocolate, antique oak, orange blossom and peat smoke on the nose. Followed by notes of rich fruit, dark chocolate fondant, peat smoke, cinnamon and ginger on the palate.

The Macallan 52 Year Old – 2018, will be available later this month from specialist retailers, for a RRP of £38,500.
