HUNTER LAING LAUNCHES NEW ISLAY SINGLE CASK COLLECTION

Independent Scotch whisky specialists, Hunter Laing, have announced the launch of a new range of single malt Scotch whiskies, which will be available exclusively from their new shop on Islay.

Launched to tie in with this year’s Feis Ile (Islay Festival) the Kinship Collection, is a series of six single cask bottlings, which were handpicked by iconic whisky distiller Jim McEwan.

The launch also marks the start of construction on Hunter Laing’s new Ardnahoe Distillery on the island, of which Jim McEwan was recently appointed Production Director.

The Kinship Collection, features labels that represent different aspects of the Scotch whisky production process - harvest, malting, fermentation, distillation, maturation and bottling.

The Kinship Collection, is comprised of:

Port Ellen 34 Year Old – Sherry Cask Matured - £1800
Caol Ila 33 Year Old – Sherry Cask Matured - £375
Bowmore 30 Year Old – Sherry Cask Matured - £495
Laphroiag 30 Year Old – Bourbon Cask Matured - £720
Bunnahabhain 28 Year Old – Sherry Cask Matured - £310
Ardbeg 26 Year Old – Bourbon Cask Matured - £720

The Kinship Collection, will be available at Hunter Laing’s new shop at Islay House Square, Bridgend from 10am on Friday 26th May, and will be on sale during the Islay Festival of Music and Malt while stocks last.
