Crown Royal Wine Barrel Finished, is the second release from the brands Noble Collection, a series that celebrates the craftsmanship and creativity of Crown Royal's whisky makers as they explore new blending techniques, maturation processes, grain recipes and distillation methods.

This latest Crown Royal release, is said to deliver notes of caramel, butterscotch and red grapes on the nose, followed by notes of spice, anise, clove and vanilla on the palate.

Commenting on the launch, Jim Ruane, Director of Crown Royal, said: "With Crown Royal Wine Barrel Finished, our distillers and blenders are honoured to carry the storied legacy passed down by those who came before, while adding their own unique facet. We experimented with a number of different wines and oak provenances – but ultimately American oak Cabernet Sauvignon best complemented Crown Royal's signature red fruit notes and velvety mouthfeel for a taste that both whisky and wine connoisseurs will love."

Crown Royal Wine Barrel Finished, will be available later this month across North America, for a RRP of $59.99.
