Bladnoch Samsara (46.7% ABV) is said to be a no age statement tribute to the rebirth of the 200-year-old distillery. Bladnoch Adela (46.7% ABV) is a 15 Year Old single malt, that has been matured in oloroso sherry casks. Bladnoch Talia (49.2% ABV) is a 25 Year Old single malt, that has been matured in American new oak casks.

The lowland distillery, which has a history dating back to 1817, officially closed in March 2014, but a year later was bought by Australian businessman David Prior, who had a desire to restore the heart and soul of the local community and reinvigorate the brand.
The three new releases will initially launch in David's home market of Australia, ahead of a limited global release later in the year.
Commenting on the news, David Prior, CEO of Bladnoch Distillery, said: “This a moment I hope all single malt whisky drinkers from around Australia will enjoy because Bladnoch is back. I’m delighted for the Bladnoch team in Scotland who’ve kept the distillery going until I was fortunate enough to purchase it. This moment is as much for them as it is for our loyal customers.’’
He went on to say: “Single malt Scotch whisky is special to me because of the shared appreciation it attracts. I want Bladnoch to be a brand that people discover, share and remember. We have great plans for Bladnoch and we know this rebirth of the brand is just the beginning. We are currently investing significantly in the distillery to plan for future growth and ensure continuity of ownership. In the coming year there will also be new releases in the Pure Scot range as well.’’
Bladnoch Samsara, Adela and Samsara, are now available from selected specialist retailers in Australia, for the respective RRP’s of A$149.00, A$179.00 and A$350.00.
