Jericho Christmas Pudding (44.8% ABV) is the latest release from their award-winning Jericho range, which has been styled on the malts from the lost distillery in Nether Jericho, Aberdeenshire, which closed in 1913.

Over 100 Scotch whisky distilleries have permanently closed in the last century. Despite being renowned for their excellent quality malts, the distilleries were largely shut down due to the effects of war and politics. The Lost Distillery Company brings the stories of famed distilleries and their people to life, to offer hand crafted blended malt Scotch whiskies. Steeped in history, these malts are re-imagined expressions of lost whisky legends.
This latest seasonal offering, is said to be a full-bodied, richly aromatic spirit, which delivers notes of honey, dried fruits, prunes, orange zest and rich marzipan on the nose, followed by notes of heated rubber, ripened dried berries, prunes, raspberries and gentle spice on the palate.

The Lost Distillery Company’s ever expanding collection, is featured across three ranges of blended malt Scotch whiskies; Classic, Archivist and Vintage. These include modern day interpretations of spirits from lost distilleries including: Auchnagie, Towiemore, Stratheden, Gerston, Lossit and Jericho.
Jericho Christmas Pudding, will be available later this month, directly from the company’s website and from selected specialist retailers for a RRP of £49.99.
