Inchmurrin 12 Year Old, has been aged in three hand-selected types of casks; bourbon, refill and re-charred casks, and is said to deliver a distinctively light and fruity nose with a peppery finish. It was awarded a Gold medal at the 2016 World Whiskies Awards.

Inchmurrin 18 Year Old, has been aged in three types of cask; bourbon, refill & re-charred casks, and is said to deliver notes of biscuits, tropical fruit, nuts, spice and ginger. It was crowned Best Independent Merchant Single Malt and received a Double Gold medal at the 2016 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Inchmurrin Madeira Wood Finish, has been matured in American oak casks, then married and matured in casks that have previously been used to age Madeira wine. The casks are said to have enhanced the sweetness of the whisky, delivering flavours of nutmeg and marzipan. It was a Gold Medal winner at the 2016 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Commenting on the news, Mark Levinson, President of A. Hardy USA, said: “National distribution is currently being arranged through our distributor network. Daily inquiries regarding Inchmurrin’s availability are already coming in, demonstrating the popularity and potential of this product in the U.S. market.”

The Inchmurrin Island Collection, will be available later this summer from specialist retailers across the US. All three expressions will be available in 750ml bottles.
